The bronze statue of Christ in Portofino, Italy, is a unique place for diving enthusiasts. It was built in memory of Danio Gonzatti, who lost his life after a dive. The idea of making a sculpture for Dario Gonzatti belongs to Duilio Marcante. The statue was placed in Fruttuoso bay in 1954.

The statue made by Guido Galletti is 2.5 meters tall. It is possible to see the statue by scuba or by doing free diving.
